About Talia
Leave a commentI’m Talia Ralph, a reporter and editor for award-winning international news website GlobalPost.
I also freelance for the Boston Globe, Roads & Kingdoms, Flaunt Magazine, and Thought Catalog, with a focus on food and culture.
In my spare time, when I find it, I’m the editor-in-chief of The Landing: a non-fiction magazine striving for the lofty goal of timeless storytelling on the Internet.
I grew up in Montreal, Quebec (oui, je parle francais!) where I was raised with a healthy appreciation for bilingualism, public transportation, and poutine. I have lived in Boston and Los Angeles, and now split my time between my hometown and a little slice of heaven people call Stowe, Vermont.
When I’m not writing or reporting, I can be found snowboarding, hiking, experimenting in the kitchen, or watching what I suspect are above-average amounts of documentary film.
(Yep, that’s me up there, reading an excerpt from a book I edited, designed, and published for a writing collective based in Los Angeles, the Wimpole Street Writers. Photo by ever-talented Gaby Esensten.)
